World Wide Order Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

World Wide Order

Rating: 5.0

A truth is not a truth if it has been altered
They had a dream that settled into the hearts of the conquered
Stripped of character, heritage, and pride
As the narrator promotes cultural suicide
you can't be aware of yourself
when you're assuming the identity of somebody else
Those who claim to be woke live a pseudo reality
Dancing with the devil will coerce your psychology
and that's how it seduces
behind closed doors they will fetish us
but when it comes to the general public,
they forget and reject us
Don't you ever think that the system
will stop and try and protect us
When they really don't even respect us
but then again, do we even respect us?
if you drink from the river of denial
you simply can not see that life's a trial
where daily you're proving your innocence
when your made to look like the villainous
They can not understand the bitterness
which has left you feeling the emptiness
when you want to feel whole
because they think you don't have a soul
what's it tell you? they don't think you're human
and have not a clue of what they have been doing

If truth is altered this can never be told as truth. Hate, racism and suffering provoke thought and hive pain. Human values should be uplifted. This poem is very thought provoking....10
