Worldly Substances (An Essay) Poem by MBJ Pancras

The world is the largest trap of Satan and its substances are satanic preys. They look glamorous, but stuffed with filth and dirt. Mermaids appear and disappear on the worldly stage and perform gimmicks to astound and play trick upon the citizens of the world. Giants play toy games and toys sneak into mammoth machines.
Celluloid steals into human life and kicks off the reality, stuffing the human life with garbage cosmetics. Citizens are mania-stricken to falsity of appearance, booming the silent voice of their conscience. They have ears, but they can't listen to the Voice of the Word. They prefer to stroll in the shallowness of reality.
Desire is the world's soul-logic. Abomination of Truth is its ‘authentic' ‘virtue'. Freedom to the least extent is the world's yardstick to measure human life's existence to blow up its desire. Creations are the world's deities mimicking themselves to neglect the Creator. The world's deliberate negligence is to worship the true God, Who is found in the Bible.
‘I must increase, other must decrease.' This is the worldly logic to deviated from the Word's ‘I must decrease, HE must increase.' Selfishness has become the breath of modern day mankind. Survival without ego is highly impossible in human life. Let others die; but my ‘self' must survive. No matter how long I shall exist on earth, but how close I am to the riches of the earth. In the guise of brotherhood ‘self' dominates self-importance, and carries out all kinds of activities outwardly for the welfare of others, but all this exposition of acts focuses one's self.
‘Love of money is the root of all evil'. The Bible says so. But who bothers the Words of the Bible. To the world, The Bible is just another book to read and go. As long as one lives on earth, one's life is normally assisted by money for one's daily livelihood. All human beings have thirst and hunger. Today, most people on earth neglect their basic needs of life, but lavishly fritter their thoughts and time to accumulate wealth more than they need. How do these people accumulate wealth? By plundering the poor people's money and others' wealth, these gluttonous traders spend their sleepless nights. These traders neglect life of principles in order to come into the public eye fighting among their rivals who too run after this line of control of money.
Power takes its hold on those who hunt for it either by hook or foul play. The implication hidden in it is dictatorship to tyrannise the ignorant and innocent citizens. Those who hunt for exercising power shall seek either with material prosperity or with dirty politics. Dirty politicians rob democratic policy and corrupt it with their unseemly and arrogant thoughts and deeds and sit in government chair. They turn eccentric and weird in their activities, which are largely foolish and idiosyncratic. Power in any form in any organisation deteriorates the healthy environment. Power is not leadership and leadership is not power. Power always denotes tyranny. Leadership always denotes guidance. A leader faces challenges and hardships for the welfare of his followers; whereas a person of power hides behind his sycophants and compel the citizens to die for him or her. People of power seek cheap popularity doing nothing for the welfare of the citizens. This is lust for power.
Marriage is honourable. Bed beyond marriage is defiled. This is lust for sex. Lust for sex lingers everywhere; it is in commoners' life; it is in religious enclosures; it is in ministries; it is in monastery; it is in nunnery; it is in political arena. Lust for sex is profanity. It hangs around in one's own body. Lust for sex takes its root from one's heart and executes its results outwardly either openly or secretly.

"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? " (1 Cor.6: 19) . Not only lying with the other men or women, but also self-gratification of one's own body is the world's craving for sex. Sodomy, incest, adultery, prostitution, debauchery in sex, and rapism, etc. are the worldly substances hidden openly in human's survival on earth.
Violence is condemned. But, it has become a fashionable hobby to the worldly citizens. Weapons like pistols, guns, swords, bombs, toxic viruses and poisonous material, etc. are worldly substances that control human life. Anger, ripped off from jealousy on other's prosperity and well-being, is the root cause of violence which results in murder and defame of other's well-being.
Cheap popularity and naked publicity are also worldly substances that tempt most worldly citizens radically to eschew the perfect steering of one's life. Matinee idols' filthy exposition of their sacred nakedness drastically entices the worldly citizens to project their sacred nakedness, perhaps for monetary attraction and for public glamour, justifying their acts as the status of this destructive world.
Worldly relationships have their own impacts in human existence serving the existing reality with the so-called blood relationship, but fail to lift the broken bonds, however, hover over showy riches of this materialistic world. If the bonds stroll in the quagmire of materialistic lucrative luxury, the so-called blood relationship parties swarm around the persons in luxury, having no thought about the filthiness of the quagmire. If the bonds are no way found in the line of existence, the so-called blood relationship ‘warriors' wink at the survival of their so-called blood relationship bonds. Numerous excuses will be built around their silence against their bonds. The truth is that all kinds of blood relationships shall be nullified inside the graves of the earth. The soul and the spirit have no blood relationships. When the soul and the spirit leave the flesh of the earth, the blood relationship becomes void. The Bible says: "for in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.' (Matthew 22: 30.) Angels are spirits and have not flesh and blood like humans on earth. 'God makes His angels as spirits and His ministers flames of fire" (Hebrews 1: 7) .
Human beings on earth are easily trapped in these worldly substances - both hidden and naked. All these worldly substances shall be burnt in fire when "the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up (2 Peter 3: 10) . So, we shall have the fear of the Lord, which is the Wisdom to escape from the great eternal fire. Shall we all live on earth in Christ Jesus the Lord honestly with fear of the Lord and receive the Eternal Glory ever in God, for "the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from Heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ"
(2 Thessalonians 1: 7,8) .
