Worth My Life, My Love, My Soul Poem by Sasha Claire Beckains

Worth My Life, My Love, My Soul

Though we bicker and scream
and throw fits of rage,
you're my magnet of love
through stormy days.

We get on edge, we hurt
inside, we pray to God to
strengthen our lives.

He gave you to me and me
to you, to be as one
and to do what he's done.
To love one another, through
the pain and the tears.
To hold each other up
through our darkest fears.

And though it may seem
that we're falling apart,
we'll look to God for a
brand new start.

Because you're the one thing
that I got right.
The only thing I'll let inside,
and the only one who's worth
the fight.

For Jesse Ortega.18 months and still going strong together. I love you! <3
