Wouldn't It Be Wonderful Poem by Ishita Yadav

Wouldn't It Be Wonderful

Rating: 5.0

Wouldn't it be wonderful, if we never grow old?
If we could treasure it all, never let the unknown unfold?
If we could stay frozen in time, living in our best?
If we could always know that we're prepared for what's next?

Wouldn't it be wonderful to know that life won't ever let down?
That we'll never have to let go of any familiar sound?
That every sight, every word, every smile will stay together?
That everything we live for will live for us forever?

Wouldn't it be wonderful to never meet the end?
To embrace life in a way that won't force us to pretend?
To know that we are alive in the way we were meant to be?
To know that reality is real not just what it's supposed to be?

Wouldn't it be wonderful, if we were told from the start?
That buying the dreams that they sell won't take us much far?
That thoughts, dreams and people, everything was going to change?
That its what growing up makes of you, no matter how strange?

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could just live forever in this moment?
If we didn't have to figure out what our life's always meant?
If we could live in oblivion, sure of who we are?
If everything in our world was a permanent shining star?
