Write me letters
I want to see your love
Write them in your own hand
I want to see the subtle tremor in your fingers
As you form the letters of each word
Write them whenever you think of me
I want to smell the sweetness in the nervous sweat on your palms
Smudging the ink
I do not care for poetic language any more than you care to write it
I care only for you
And the letters you will write me
