Writer's Block

where once it flowed like a golden stream
now my words mere debris
makes me want to scream

Thanks for the honour but we all have this from time to time! This is a good poem and the economy is once again brilliant. There you are now your have written again and rest assured there lots more to come from your pen. Patience is a difficult virtue and it can not be a creative paradise all the time. Best wishes and will be reading more of your work, John

Hi Robyn - It s GEM. I happens to all of us not just now and again but NOW and AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN. There is a cure (just as there is for most things these days) and that is to get a good poetry anthology and be amazed and amused by the verbal erudition of our forbears and say 'YES I CAN! ! ! ! ! ' and write AGAIN. Every blessing - Love you - JOHN P.S. Your poems - like you - are always very beautiful
