Writing The Pain Away Poem by Christine A Kysely

Maybe if I just write...and write...and write...
and put ALL of my thoughts and words down on paper...

The pain will go away...

and then I will be happy...
and content
and my head won't hurt,
and my heart won't hurt,
and I won't feel so bad anymore

If I just write
and write
and write
and write

and get all of these words out of my head
and off of my heart
and put them down on paper.

Maybe then I will be able to 'Write the Pain Away.'
