Written In The Dark Poem by Amanda May Moore

Written In The Dark

I'd say that everyday
One should look in a book.
There is only so much time
So be sure to spend every dime
Give patience to all
Help someone when they fall
Don't drink to much coffee
But have another toffee

I'd say at least once a day
Make an effort to pray.
Go outside a bit and be crazy
Don't sit there being lazy.
Tie your shoes and
Stop singing the Blues.
Take your time
It isn't a crime!

I'd say make sure your belly button never goes away
'Where did it go! ' Is what they'd say.
So be sure to look
Not only in a book
Take a jump on a horse
Don't always stay on course.

I'd say that a feather is heavy
So we should get and use a levy
There are days we need help
Don't be the dog that's hurt and has to yelp.
Be not afraid of what comes tomorrow
For each day is time we ask to borrow.

I'd say give all you can give
Live all you can live
Do all this in what is all good
Do all of this in all that is understood
Your mission (and mine) - spread love in all that you do
And in all that you don't do.
