Yahan eka harijan ki vasti,
Wahan eka harijan ki vasti,
Esamei kya,
Cchut-acchut mei hi kya,
Jattivaad, ucha-nicha ki bhavana mei?
Ram to basatei hain
Hridaya mei.
Utani puranipanthi dakiyanishi bhavana thik nahi,
Adhunik to baniyei.

Here is a locality of the Harijans,
There is a locality of the Harijans,
What is it in it,
In touchability-untouchability,
Casteism, the high and the low thinking?
Ram dwells it
In the heart.
So much old and conservative thinking is not good and healthy,
