Yangery In November Poem by Francis Duggan

Yangery In November

The sun behind gray clouds is hiding away
But the magpies arefluting in Yangery today
In late November quite close to the end of the southern Spring
The sights and sounds of Nature is such a beautiful thing
The blackbirds are singing and Summer is near
In quite typical weather for the time of year
The Moyne Shire is looking so lush and so green
And Nature at her finest is to be seen
On nutritious young grass gaining weight by the day
The contented cattle chewing their cuds do lay
And everywhere looking green after the recent rain
With such weather you will not hear many complain
The sun behind gray clouds is hiding away
But in Yangery the magpies are singing today.
