Yarn And Needle Poem by Tyrone Gayle

Yarn And Needle

I was hammering about what to write then I suddenly hit it,
Life, it's quite precious, so what should you do with it?
Um, You need to find your yarn and needle so you can knit it,
Without them, you will feel the pressure to quit it.

I know the stereotype is that knitting is for loving grandmas,
Well, get that out of your mind and get out the grand spas,
Step into the wonderful realm of this beautiful artistry,
And discover hands on its detailed intertwining mystery:

A yarn is your colorful string of talents that gives you sore thumbs,
And hires Bob to build a confidence which makes you breathe with four lungs,
While a needle is your eye pinpointing your purpose which offers fulfillment,
But be still for it's hard to identity if tranquility is not fully present.

This is greater than seaming, get serious with this branch of economics,
It is a mirror of life just as the material from clever comics,
The time might cause fatigue but if you are doing it from your arteries,
You will be engulfed with patience like veteran doctors in infirmaries.

So once you've found your yarn and needle, take a seat in your rocking chair,
Embark on your knitting, it's time to have a sparkling affair,
But never knit with a nit wit, no one should shift you in a romping gear,
Hmn, an unusual metaphor for life because in it you ought to do something rare.
