Ye Mighty And Despair

Ye Mighty and Despair
Poem by: Freeyad Ibrahim

Ye mighty tyrants
Overindulged in crimes and corrupt
remember, hold in mind, firm
Your time is a fleeting one
Your reign is a flash in a pan
Folly ye leaders of Arabia
No experience has fed your thought
you dandified Obnoxious leaders,
don't boast
Day by day, day in day out
You fall unnoticed like a falling star
Your kangaroo courts won't avail
prepare
you can buy everything
except the honour
we will never stir
beware
we regained confidence
and start to have courage
and high hopes
we all in one trench
in wait of
no loud cries terrify us
none your jet aircrafts
our morality flourish
your men uncertain
your daring
and your resolution vanish
who fights for life
for peace and dignity
will even alter
the blows of destiny
your fall is certain
ye mighty and despair
ye megalomaniac men
nothing beside remains
even the king of kings
No titles´-or-names will remain
No costly canes´-or-glittering emeralds
Nor Rings with embroidered gold,
look the dust of their rotten bone
scattered
along the stretched beach of mankind
far away
the morning has already begun,
We are bored to death
To your endless eloquent speech
all the theatrical words
Orations
Ye conspicuous rulers with
aimless followers
saluting kneeling fooled by falsehood
of the fake power of maintenance and complexity of possession
ye hope are vain
stooping in lofty thoughts
Ye rich of material power
The mass is fortified
by the power of morals and dignity
The morrow shines
Its light blinds the bats
