Some Girl

Yearning

Forever and a day
Seems like an eternity
But until love is lost
You will never know love to be

You fall in love
Everything is new
The love like a rainbow
The moments forever true

You lose the love
Wonder where it has gone
You remember the good times
Now you just sit and long

Long for forever and a day
Long for love to stay
Yearn for what you know
Wonder where it goes

Love once lost, is lost for ever.
The yearning too, remains for ever.
Poetry is an abode, for the yearning to remain,
The thought of lost love will for ever cause pain. (Report) Reply

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
