Yellow Hair Poem by Thomas Plotz

Yellow Hair

Man with yellow hair
Sitting there,
Looking at me, as I was
Looking at you…

I should have sat on by
I could have said hi,
Then, shook your warm hand slowly…

Oh my Son, what have I done?
Although the chase of the Fall, would be over, and
I know that's your favorite part, of the game…

To others, this poem wouldn't make sense,
I didn't wright it for them,
I wrote it for you, and the ones
Over there, standing in our family circle…

How I love you so
