Yellow Roses

Roses for a
love
that's wanting
and
Oh! so true.
Roses for a sweet,
gentle creature
An embelm of light
in my days of
despair.
Roses for a
treasure beyond
price
That can never
be replaced.
Roses for being
my rock on
life's stormy
seas.
Roses for your
smile that can
dry an ocean
of tears.
Roses for your
beauty
That can make
even heaven
envy.
Roses, the hue
of the sun,
smiling down on
you.

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
