Yesterday Poem by tolu ogundare

Yesterday

It's how I know it's hard to say
When on a trip, I lost my way
To yesterday, to right my flaws
That these pains might tame their claws

On this vantage now regret wails
When back in time the view unveils
This same and fallible mind of mine
Ere errors to its tiny fabrics bind

Perhaps I won't see yesterday again
For reasons I'd rather not explain
Perhaps these pains one day will be
In times of need a gain to me

....Perhaps these pains of yesterday Will bring lessons to live today And all things together not be in vain Enjoyable one! Yesterday is gone indeed and hoping no much damage as pains from there to deal with today. Everyday has its peculiar blessings though
