You treated me right
You stayed by my side
I held on you tight
And cherished the ride

You started to change
Become so out of range
What’ s familiar’ s now strange
I now feel the rage

I held on my ground
Though it don’ t seem so sound
I am up for one round
‘ Though it’ s impossible I found

All my heartaches declare
Now the end is at hand
That I must now beware
As time falls with the sand

Wasn’ t it just yesterday
When you came my way
And brightened each day
With each word you say

It was just yesterday
When you promised you’ d stay
Never go out of stray
Yet my love you betray…
