Yesterday's Promise
Poems are made by those who care,
Letters by those who love,
But heart can change with yesterday's promise.
Though one's feelings exceed for one moment,
Expectations ruin as promises are forgotten,
Cannot be expressed by just words,
Phrases and sentences wrap around the edges.
If yesterday didn't happen and tomorrow came,
Will chances change?
Will anger cease?
Will fate allow us to be together?
