You

It's always a pleasure to read your poems.
They usually come to me like pieces of gems.
They leave a lingering delight in my mind,
Of soft feelings, so soothing that's hard to find.
You are a poet of peace, of love and clarity,
A poet of pristine serenity and of beauty.
You are an admirer of nature,
Admirer of the fleeting seasons,
You enjoy the seasonal changes,
Without looking for good reasons.
You 'always carry a song in your heart',
And always appreciate all that's a fine art.
You love dancing, singing, songs and music,
Yourself can produce a magnificent lyric.
I love your poems, and love your thoughts,
As also the greetings of peace, quite a lot.

Such a beautiful, poetical description of this anonymous poet who must be quite an unusual writer to have moved you so deeply. Your poem is wonderful, paints a vivid and emotional picture of the benefic and deep power of poetry. (Report) Reply

I like the idea of this poem
It is like where the shoe fits
It is for the poet who fits the criteria,
And I myself smiled reading it.
    Nice one. (Report) Reply

    @ Shahzia Batool,
Thank you very much for your thoughtful comments. Such kindness inspires me a lot. Certainly I shall read your 'You' too.
From your comment, I have learnt the second meaning of an 'apostrophe' and I want to thank you particularly for that too. This is how we can benefit from each other's treasure of words in this elegant forum. (Report) Reply

    @ Lucifera Santez,

Thanks for reading my poem and for the comment.
The 'You' of the poem is one who aptly fits into the description, lol... :)) (Report) Reply

Nice apostrophe and elegant presentation...the title attracted me because my title is also the same, though such coincidences are the part of this art of poetry...i like couplets for the skilful and meaningful rhythmic bondage...yes, peace is the only thing we all desire! ! ! (Report) Reply

    Magnificent!
'You are an admirer of nature,
    Admirer of the fleeting seasons,
    You enjoy the seasonal changes,
    Without looking for good reasons.'
I enjoyed it very much. As Lucifera asked, who is it about? (Report) Reply
