You Poem by Julie Smith

You

Tears of righteousness
Flowing down my face
In the middle of the night
If they could only
Make you come back
And put you where you should be
Right at my side

An empty cigarette case
Losing its magic without you
My short skirt is missing your touch
The smoke is blowing back in my face
My hand in yours
The best possible place
The mirror reflects the tears in my eyes
They'll light up only when I see your face

I won't be anything without you
My life a casket painted midnight blue
You will forever be the one and only to me
I'd die to spend my life wherever you'll be
I wouldn't mind being blind if I could only see you
I'd give my life for a day spent with you
I love You
