You said we would get together if after 5 years neither of us found the person for life.
You said it with so much emphasis that I believed it.
It was the moonlight that brought me to you. The intensity of your view on the photo, they brought you closer to me. You had caught my soul from the first moment.
Your words were playful, they gave me courage to leave the shadow.
How grateful I am to you, I love you without ever having held you.
It was that moment that made me fall in love.
I will hold you as long as I exist.
You are the peace, the port, the sun, the moon and yet so far away.
I see you in many images, in dreams
I see you on the colored stairs in Rio,
In a small market, with fresh herbs, flowers, homemade jewelry.
Hear your laughter, philosophize and admire your inner peace.
And yet I see the sadness.
Why so sad?
