its rare to find someone who just
wants to see and hear and stay
someone who'll seek to know you more
someone who'll like and love you true

and when i look around..i find you there
seeing through my soul my stare

i never thought i'd ever find
someone to share my heart's desires
someone who'll make me smile and see
how it feels to live and be free

i close my eyes and catch my breath
just today, this once i felt
there's nothing more i'd want to own
than you, your heart
my you, my all
