You came into my life
Out of the velvet night
You came, and you swept me off my feet
Turned my world around, my mind inside-out
I've been reborn, you gave my light

I'll take my place, I'll stand and fight
'Cause with you by my side
My limbs will fly
I am immortal in your arms
I can but try
But I will not die
You'll keep me safe from any harm

Living and loving
We've been turtle-doving
It can't go on forever
I'll dream though, and while you're here
I'll see the world clearly
And with you I'll keep discovering
