You Poem by Michelle Clarke

You

My love for you is a burning candle
Slowly dimming throughout time
Your words hurt
Sending chills through me
I wonder if this would ever end
Thoughts scatter throughout my head
Dreams seem to leak into my bed
Screw-up, useless, worlds like these ruin me
I know I'm not perfect
And never will be
So why can't you just accept me
For me
