Psaltydog's Thoughts

You Alone - Poem by Psaltydog's Thoughts

On a dreary morning cleft in pain
while sadness tore my heart
In weakness I failed you so
Yet, my life you set apart

A pit so dark, reserved for me
No answer could be found
But, by your grace you ransomed me
I’m secure where hope abounds

Jesus, I am yours
You bought my life on Calvary
Jesus, you’re my King
In you alone is victory

Now, I live for you alone
No stranger to your word
The only thing I want to know
is to know you more as Lord

Jesus, I am yours
You bought my life on Calvary
Jesus, you’re my King
In you alone is victory
