You and I
Why not you be the orange rising sun
Your radiant face, brilliant florescence
Can I be the eastern horizon?
Letting you wake up a new sweet dawn
Why not you be the fresh morning air
Your moistened eyes, misty cover
Can I be the chirping of the bird?
Chiming the clock for the night to end
Why not you be the vast blue ocean
Your endless smiles, waves million
Can I be the boat in gliding?
Soothing waves, beautiful sailing…..
Why not you be the vast desert land
Your infinite greatness, countless sand
Can I be the tireless camel?
Ever on journey, endless travel
Why not you be the high rise mountain
Your sweet breath, rare ozone
Can I be the wisdom seeker?
Enjoying your breath, sweetest air
Why not you be the deepest valley
Your mysteries, unknown to any
Can I be the freezing glacier?
A good cover to your secret nature
Why not you be the dark dense forests
Your mischiefs, deep thickets
Can I be the daring explorer?
Your every mischief hides a treasure
Why not you be the blooming lotus
Your parting lips, sweet petals
Can I be the bee there woven?
With honey of your lips, ever drunken
Why not you be the dense dark clouds
Your limitless love, condensed waters
Can I be the bird flying high?
Can I suckle you a little dry?
Why not you be the flashing lightening
Your omniscience, brilliant dazzling
Can I spread as the vast welkin?
A witness to your all knowing
Why not you be the moon-lit night
Your pearly sweat, stars beautiful bright
Can I be the little river in flow?
Murmuring, sparkling, reflecting your glow
Why not you be the bright twinkling star
Your winking eyes, magic lustre
Can I be the little baby child?
Clapping my hands and jumping wild
Why not you be the bed time story
The night won't give in any early
Can I be the fairy there?
The little child awake ever….
Are you not just darling of Vrindavan
Holding aloft great Govardhan
Can I become mother Yashoda?
Will you call me maiya maiya? ?
