You And I Poem by Sharad Rajimwale

You And I

Rating: 5.0

Who can drain the blue from the sky
and the brilliance from its boundless freedom
and freedom from the life of the spirit?

Come into the embrace of my spirit
for you are not separate from the freedom
my enclosing arms offer.
The smile that lits up your face
ranges across the universe we two make.
Who can separate that smile from your face? Without you my soul can't experience the bliss of soaring
into the purity of union
and the blessings of unending freedom.

This submission elevates us like nothing alse
This bondage liberates us from bondagesw
of soul-suffering constrictions.
