You Are Poem by Lost Soul

You are the light that shines from up above,
that guides me to the right direction.
You are the missing half of my heart,
that’s been lost in my soul’s resurrection.
You are the angel that gave me your hand,
on the days I gave up hope.
You are the flame that burns in my heart,
helping me survive my problems I have yet to cope.
You are the will in my battles,
giving me strength to stand tall and fight.
You are the arms that hold me,
on the times I need to be held tight
You are the air I breathe,
helping me give my mind, body, and soul respiration.
You are the voice in my head
giving me my writing inspiration.
You are the cure to my pain,
ending the misery and hell I feel deep with in me
You are the soldier guiding me to victory,
warning my soul of darkness I cannot see.
You are the love I’ve been looking for all these years,
hoping you’ll stay in my heart were you truly belong.
You are the legs of this soldier
helping me stand when I can not stay strong.
You are the one that weakens me
with just the power of your touch.
You are the sword I hold beside me
when my fists to fight aren’t good enough.
You are the lost spirit falling beside me
ridding me of my pain and misery.
You are the open door that lies ahead
for this soldier to find a soul and chivalry
You are the one that I seek.
You are the one for me.
With just your love I will be fine.
