You Are Holding Different Hands Poem by Jorge Arturo Valles Anguiano

You Are Holding Different Hands

In my mind
I can see you holding my hand,
but I can see you are holding his hand too,
and you are looking at him
with such lovely eyes,
while you are giving me your back...

Feeling rejected,
feeling ignored,
I can see how you sometimes look at me
with almost the same lovely eyes,
but I still can see you are holding his hand
with more strenght than mine...,
I can know that you don't want to let him go,
and I can know that you don't care if I go,
after all,
'I'm his clone with a different physic.'

But still I don't care,
I just want you to be happy,
even if you are happy with him
and not with me.
