I ‘m not sure why I feel this way
I am feeling quite upset,
I wish it was a brighter day
And not one of regret

I should have taken the time to say,
The things I had to then,
But now I know it is too late,
I don’t know when we’ll meet again

So many words, I did not say,
So many unforgiving fights
So many apologies didn’t make their way,
They’re lost into the night

Oh how I wish, time could go back
So that we can make things right,
I wouldn’t shout or talk back,
Because I know that you were right

You only wanted the best for me,
And now I see the light,
It’s too late for apologies,
You’re gone, you’re out of sight

You are deeply missed...
