To this day these words burn me.
“I am responsible for your welfare.”
But in a way it sooths me.
“I share your triumphs and your sadness…”
To know I have someone looking out for me.
“…My brother, my twin.”
“You are an incredible friend.”
My hopes were raised.
“You’re stuck with me…”
From that moment,
“…Through the good times and bad.”
And forever on.
“My brother, my twin”
“Even though we picked on you…”
Remembering of old times.
“…it was because we all had crushes on you.”
Hoping for the past to come by again.
“Don’t forget that I am thinking of you always…”
A feeling of hope for the future.
