You Are Still Missing The Point Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

You Are Still Missing The Point

You are still missing the point,
You are still musing up with your mind,
But, you need the collective works of the teacher to drive you on.
Much study is wearisome to the flesh!
So, search and learn from the truth always;
However, which day is the Seventh Day of the Week?

The days of the week,
The days of love,
The days with your muse,
The days of rest;
But, you are sitting on the Seven Hills of Rome.

The linen cloth,
Your missing works!
But take me as i am and,
Sing aloud oh heavens! !
For, the collective works of the teacher is now leading you on.

Take me as i am and love me as i am,
But not like a foolish writer with PhD;
Out of sheer disgust,
Alienated!
But, do smoke in your own room to kill yourself.

Sheer, seer!
Don't smoke outside to disturb others;
For, things are now heating up for the nuclear war! !
And, nature is now holding up the four winds of the earth.

Ability and wealth!
The moon will not give her light and the sun will be darkened;
Yes, from the effects of the nuclear war which will let the stars fall down from the heavens! !
But, pleasant words are like a comb of honey.

Money, honey!
The grey hair is a crown of glory;
But, an evil doer listens to false lips.
