You Are There Poem by Frank E. Reeher

You Are There

I came to Thee, O God, in humble prayer
You heard me Lord You, were there.
I ask Your strength, my task, to share
I was renewed, You Lord, were there.

When a problem troubled my mind
I asked Your help, the puzzle to unwind.
I ask that your wisdom, with me, You share,
The trouble eased, You Lord, were there.

I called on You when I was ill,
Your healing, my body and mind to fill.
And, as with You my problems I share,
I feel Your Hand, I know Lord, You are there.

I ask O God, that You walk with me,
Live Your life thru me, that Your Grace, others see.
Your love and mercy, with me share
That others see not me, but they know You're there.

I ask not O God, for material things
Gold or silver, or diamond rings.
I ask only Lord, as I come in prayer
You let me know, O Lord, that You, are there.
