You Ask Me Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

You Ask Me

You ask me and I shall what it is in my heart,
What has it happened to it,
How it undergoes upon it?

You ask me and I shall what it has happened to my heart,
What has it passed on,
The scars and wounds will say it,
The bleeding wounds of my love?

My love is it that sing I, my love is it that hum and whistle I
And go I about singing,
The song of life, my love,
My heart and soul,
My love, you do not know them?

My beards have grown for her,
My hair lies it ruffled,
How sad, broken and morose look I,
Can’t you guess it?

But love is love, love for anything else,
Love is not that
What take you, take I,
My love, your love.

A singer of hear am I and go I singing and humming
The songs of life,
Thank you brother
As listened to it.
