You come
to me,
like the lightning on a stormy sea.

You come
to me,
like the surge of clouds
upon the valley of my summer sky.

You come
to me,
as the seagulls
flying across the
sunny beach
at dawn.

you come
to me,
ever so softly
and once again,
perched on the dreams
of my soul.

you come
to me,
on an afternoon
with your
enchanting smile
upon the
love of a lifetime.

you come
to me,
again
for one last time
to take me
to a place
where your dreams fly

as i stand upon
the brink of a second,
a minute,
an hour,
a day,
that fondly passed us by.


to be here
as i lay
upon mud and stone
on a grave
not far from the ashes
of a grace
that stood great
upon this earth and blood of mine.
