pleasing others
seems to be your
cup of tea

why not try coffee?
a mug of coffee

or why not beer
and get a beer belly

honestly, you could
have done much better
that just be being a beetle

why not take a nut
and have a betel nut?

you could have done
much better
get a handful of mud
roll it over your palms
and shape it in the likeness
of man and by then
you could have been
a co-creator, a god, an
artist, an imaginary one

you could have done
much better playing with
ideas rather than pleasing
people writing their names
in the sands and in
sea water.
