You Died Too Young

At your prime, not even ready to leave,
But God thought it was your time to go.
You made me believe in myself again
And for that I thank you.
You died to young!

Sunny days seem to hurt most of all
Everwhere I go, I see your face before me
I see your smile, I feel your presence with me.
Still can't believe you're gone.
You died too young!

You never got to see the world
You never got to chase your dreams
You never got to name your babies
What would you name your babies?
You died too young!

My life has changed so much
Since you've been gone
Everything is different
I am now living my life out for you.
You died too young!

I miss your smile
I miss your face.
I miss everything about you.
I wish you were still here
You died too young!

Knowing that I'll see you again someday,
Is the only thing that gives me hope, now.
I wonder, who would you be today?
I love you and always will! !
You died too young!

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
