You Do Not Love Me Poem by Sylvia Chidi

You Do Not Love Me

Rating: 5.0

You left with the speed of lighting
In a way that was very frightening
You do not love me, you do not love me
However you use the word ‘love' so carelessly
You do not love me, you do not love me
Then you use the word ‘love' so excessively

I have sailed the stars at night
And climbed the clouds in light
Touched love that sparkled bright
And your love does not feel right

We had loving flashes that were delighting
Then my heart was struck by your lightening
You do not love me, you do not love me
With you the air blows hot and then cold
You do not love me, you do not love me
With you its intense fire then after ice unfolds

You search around for hidden treasures
The material things you eagerly measure
I give and give hoping to pleasure
And all I feel is constant pressure
Here I am taking my pen and writing
Your blue curious eyes were once inviting
Our love could have been extremely exciting
But we began with fighting against uniting

You love me
Or you don't love me
You can't fool me
What more does a fool want?
You do not love me, you do not love me
