You Just Have 'That Look' Poem by Victoria Annette Bailey

You Just Have 'That Look'

Let’s see if we can still see the waves
When we come up for air,
Take my hand, we’ll sink as one,
Let’s not waste the flares.
We’re drowning in our separate oceans
Can’t you taste the salt?
The current shared between the two
Is resting on our faults.
Keep crying honey, if you want,
We’re only going down,
So once more, just take my hand,
Let’s go without a sound.
