I sit here remembering the life of love
How I adored to see her smile and call that my morning

How I held her in my arms and swore that I was holding the world
How I looked into her eyes and saw a world full of peace and serenity

I sit here remembering when it all went away
That in a single moment my world shattered and she wasn't there

How my solitude and depression grew so big
that my heart turned to stone and grew to hate the word love

Now I sit here writing this 'poem'
Remembering this Heart that was once my own
