You Know I Never Cared Poem by Josh Burnett

You Know I Never Cared

Rating: 5.0

Do you think I am ugly?
I guess you never really knew me.
Do you not want me?
Tell me to go away.
What do you expect me to say?
Are you expecting me to stay?
Am I not your one and only?

Crush my heart
And tear it apart.
You know I never cared.
Break me down
And push me to the ground.
I know you don't want me around.

How does it feel
To kill what I never felt?
The pain's already dealt.
I knew you wouldn't help.
All you could think about was yourself.
My heart went on a shelf
To never feel like itself.

Crush my heart
And tear it apart.
You know i never cared.
Break me down
And push me to the ground.
I know you don't want me around.

Did you enjoy watching me cry?
Did you enjoy telling the lie?
Did you enjoy saying goodbye?

Crush my heart
And tear it apart.
You know I never cared.
Break me down
And push me to the ground.
I know you don't want me around.
