You'Ll Never Be The Same Poem by A. P. Hancock

You'Ll Never Be The Same

Come follow me down treelined paths, amid the ancient ones
I know a place you've never seen, where miracles are done

It's a lush and lovely eden spot, a genesis-like place
A lost and hidden world of sorts, that knows no time or space

There you see a waterfall, that cascades down the hill
Up high, exotic feathered friends, who sing at heaven's will

Feel the cool breeze through your hair, the mist upon your face
See the fawn and mother too, in nature's warm embrace

Lay down on carpet made by God, and let your worries go
Close your eyes and dream awhile, be freed from what you know

Think of all that's never been, but all you've wished to be
Imagine pictures fresh and new, scenes filled with jubilee

Now wake from all your sleep and rest, I hope you're glad you came
The miracle is made complete, you'll never be the same
