I'm sitting here thinking about
How you changed my life
Without your wonderful love
I'd still be caught in strife.

You take my cloudy days
And make them bright
You take me out of the darkness
And bring me into the light.

You make everything worth while
You make everything great
Even if I don't have
All the good things on my plate.

You make me glad to be alive
You make me able to deal with the pain
If you weren't in my life
I would go insane.

What I'm really trying to say
And oh how I know it's true
Lord, I'd be lost in the dark
If I did not have you.
