You took it all, you could never fall,
You broke my heart you tore it apart.
Your empty promises your false compromises you kept me hanging on by a little thread of hope.
Was is worth seeing me suffer, hearing my screams while dreaming, feeling the tears that were falling drowning out my long lonely nights.
All I wanted was you to hold me to tell me everything will be all right but you never looked into my eyes you couldn’t even say sorry you sat there and watched me cry as my heart was slowly being ripped into pieces, so many pieces that it was impossible to stitch myself back up but I did.
I’m over you I’m done crying every night for what I thought was right.
You can’t hold me down to the ground I’m stronger than yesterday.
Are you happy now that I have finally found the life destined for me.
You set me free for others to see and it’s amazing because you lost out on what you could have had but you will never be with me again.
I’m happy now that your on the ground wishing things could be the way they used to be.
I’m stronger than yesterday, you never loved me anyway….
