You'Re Me And I'M You Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

You'Re Me And I'M You

You finish my sentences
And are always right you see.
In everything you do
You are a reflection of what's me!

But when I do the same to you,
It really hits home and fast.
Just how much alike we are,
Like two blades of fresh grown grass.

You're me, and I'm you.
Two hearts beat together,
But if you look closely
There is just only one.

Especially in the morning
At the rise of a new sun.
I am your sweetie, and
You dear are my hon!
I'm you, and you're me,
Till life's done!
