I've been told so many time that I won't make it in life.
Say I'm a worthless mother and especially a wife.
At times I believed because my heart so cold.
Always had a weakness for everything I was told.
I never sat back, relax and just thinks things through,
Instead everyday I push to prove what they're sayin isn't true.
My life has been a struggle I've always thought that I had passed,
All da memories in life and never tried to make it last.
That's y I'm forgetable cause I'm afraid of holdin on,
Don't wanna look bacc and see if I did anything wrong.
At times I'd awake and thank God for my every breath,
But walk around for the rest wishing nothing more den death.
It's funny how I know how to deal with open wounds and broken bones,
But can't deal with broken hearts and especially my own.
I've tried to look for inspiration or a Guardian angels in the light,
I believe that they're there but far away from my sight.
Been through it all, thought I knew everything bout living,
Thought life was nothing more but giving and receiving.
It's more than that but I'm afraid to step ahead cause I'll fall,
But in order to gain in life I would have to risk it all.
So have faith in me believe that Imma make my way,
To da top of da world just to show that everyday,
I've learned a lesson in life after all I've been through,
Cause I found an inspiration a guardian Angel and that is you.
