You There Poem by K.T. Matias

You There

Rating: 5.0

What are you doing?
but then, what am I?
Casting judgement, speaking words of wrath.
It's outrageous! It's abominable.
The rage simmers.
The moral conviction strong in my belly.
Someone has to DO something
Someone should SAY something
Strong words behind small screens,
Loud voices followed by nothing.
Lock your phone, sip your coffee.
you've made no impact-
just contributed to the noise.
noise pollution and nothing more.
Tearing relationships apart because of differing opinion
but no action done to help the victims
start a dialogue, change will come!
but we who can create change, create none.
Just dialogue.

start a dialogue, change will come! A great social message is so nicely delivered. People must act in stead of mere dialogues. Thanks dear poet for sharing this lovely poem. 10++ for it. Subhas
