she was the one that caught your eyes
she was the one with an amazing voice
she was the one that challenged you
she was the one who knows how to love you
she was the one who brought out the jealousy in you
she was the one who you loved but didn't care
she was the one you miss only after she was gone

you regretted for not being faithful
you regretted for taking her for granted
you regretted that you fooled around
you regretted that you didn't show her the love
you regretted that you didn't even try to commit

now your life is a mess
you can't live with love
you can't give love
you refused to be loved
it is too late for those regrets

pain will be with you
regrets will haunt you
she will forgive you
but you won't forgive yourself
life is not worth living
and so you think

the girls you care about now will stay
but only for a while
for you can never truly love them
the way you loved her.
