You don't know
you will never understand
where was your presence at
when I needed that helping hand.
look into my eyes
and see if you can see
this pain that is living
deep inside of me.
you stand there and tell me
that you really care
actions speak louder than words
and your actions are never there.
my energy that I put into you
is being wasted away
I have no more strength
to argue about this today.
all I want is some compassion,
some love and some care
I want you to show me
instead, of telling me you'll be there.
it's not much to ask for
but you treat it as if it is
i'm not going to continue with this
it's not the life I want to live.
