You Won'T Love Me, Too Poem by Sami Wyatt

You Won'T Love Me, Too

My heart says to cry
While my mind holds in the tears
I cry as I write, my teardrops falling fast
Drip, drip, falling softly upon my pillow
Until I fall asleep
And day after day, I wait for you to love me, too
But I know it can't be true that you would love me
So I'll cry myself into a marvelous dream
In which you are mine to keep
